Martin started in call & contact centres as an agent on the phones following university and has stayed in the industry he loves ever since. He has held a variety of operational roles from Team Leader, Contact Centre Manager, Head of Sales, OBTM Director through to a Senior Director of Quality Solutions.
Martin is passionate about the Call & Contact Centre Industry and helping others. It was this passion that led to Martin setting up the UK’s first podcast dedicated to contact centres back in May 2019. Now at 150 episodes, Get Out of Wrap (GOOW) has become a UK Call & Contact Centre institution. He also presents GOOW TV which is streamed live on a weekly basis.
Earlier this year, Martin left full-time employment to build on the success of the GOOW podcast and TV and embark on building another first for the industry, The Team Leader Community. This provides an interactive and safe space for Team leaders to come together, share best practice, overcome challenges, and provide them with the tools to be amazing leaders.
